Esteem is an active API member, co-authoring API 561 (the new SMR furnaces standard) and contributing to API 560 and API 936. We are EIL-enlisted for Fired Heaters and Modularization Packages. Our Baddi shop holds ASME U Stamp, ASME S Stamp, and IBR. Our quality, environment, and safety systems are certified to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001.
API 560 is the standard every fired heater buyer audits against. API 561 will be the standard every SMR reformer is built to. API 936 is the standard that governs the refractory inside both. Esteem engineers contribute to all three.

Steam Methane Reformer furnaces did not have a dedicated API standard. API 561 is the standard that will define radiant section design, tube metallurgy, burner practice, and safeguarding for hydrogen reformers worldwide. Esteem is on the authoring committee.

Committee member
The standard that governs monolithic refractory material, installation, dryout, and inspection. Our refractory engineering team contributes directly — and the same team designs every lining we supply.
Why this matters for buyers. When an Esteem engineer reviews your tender spec, interprets an API clause, or proposes a design deviation, they are applying the same judgment that shapes the standard itself. Interpretation is not reverse-engineered from a published document — it is authored at source.
EIL enlistment is the gatekeeper approval for Indian public-sector refining work. It is earned by demonstrating engineering capacity, shop facilities, quality systems, and delivered project references. Esteem is enlisted in two categories.
The modularization enlistment covers not only modular fired heaters but also integrated pipe-rack packages — reflecting the shop capability at Baddi and Indrad to deliver pre-assembled modules for transport to site.
EIL Enlistment Categories
Our Baddi shop (75 m × 30 m) holds the ASME Code stamps required for pressure vessel and power boiler manufacture. Stamping is the objective technical evidence that the shop, welders, procedures, and quality systems have been audited and accepted.
Pressure vessel manufacture under Section VIII, Division 1 — our Baddi shop is authorized.
Power boiler manufacture under Section I — covers process-boiler and waste-heat-boiler scopes.
Registration and NB stamping where client or jurisdiction requires it.
IBR is the statutory regulation that governs boiler and high-pressure steam service in India. Manufacturing under IBR requires approved procedures, qualified welders, material traceability from mill to vessel, and stage-by-stage inspection by an Inspecting Authority.
Our Baddi shop operates inside this regime as standard — so steam-service heaters, waste heat boilers, and steam-generating components are fabricated to the statutory requirement from day one, not retrofitted into compliance.

Our API 560 / API 561 alignment, ASME stamping, and IBR compliance satisfy the base requirements of all major refining licensors — UOP, Lummus, Axens, Topsoe, Technip, and the Indian public-sector EPC integrators.
Esteem Projects LLC is registered in Delaware (USA). International references include IRPC Thailand (supply via Linde) and TCI Egypt (commissioning with Born Heaters Canada). Full export documentation, third-party inspection, and client-witnessed testing standard on all international contracts.
